Clinical Pastoral Education Program

CPE at Lakeland Regional Health is a program that has been structured to meet the needs of theological students, faith group leaders, lay ministers and local clergy. 

The program provides opportunities to join the pastoral care team, providing pastoral care to people facing illness, trauma, rehabilitation, dying and aging.  This includes experience with persons from diverse cultural and social backgrounds from across Central Florida and around the world.

You will gain valuable experience with colleagues in ministry from diverse backgrounds.  The LRH chaplain team represent differing faith backgrounds, as do other professionals across the LRH community. 

You will participate in a healthcare setting that is committed to education. Pharmacy residents, nursing students and other allied health professionals are learning in the various clinical settings available at the hospital.
