About the Program

The Congregational Health Partnership (CHP) is a partnership between local congregations and Lakeland Regional Health designed to empower faith communities to address the unique health needs of their congregation.

Partnership Benefits

  • Education on important health topics facing Polk County residents
  • Assistance navigating the health system
  • Support from LRH team members to help educate your congregation on specific health topics
  • Scheduled health check-ups for your congregation’s members (i.e. blood pressure checks and glucose screenings)

The FitChurch Challenge is a comprehensive wellness challenge designed to empower individuals, families, and congregations to improve their health.

The 2022 FitChurch Challenge will kick off in January 8, 2022 (9 AM) at the Lakeland Family YMCA. The Challenge runs for 12 weeks.
