Skin Cancer

Patients should see their dermatologist regularly to be screened for skin cancer. There are a number of different types of skin cancer and many of them are caused from overexposure to the sun’s damaging rays. Lakeland Regional Health dermatologists focus on early detection and treatment of skin cancer for patients via cryotherapy, electrosurgery, and surgical excision. They are skilled in performing Mohs surgery – a type of surgery where the cancerous tissue is progressively removed to minimize alteration to healthy tissue surrounding the cancer.

Cosmetic Dermatology

As we get older, our skin starts producing less collagen resulting in thinner skin and wrinkles. After the age of 20, a person produces about 1 percent less collagen in the skin every year. These visible changes can cause us to los confidence and lead many to find noninvasive treatment options. Our cosmetic goal is to deliver natural results that will improve a patient’s self-esteem and confidence.

Cosmetic procedures include:

  • Dermal Fillers
  • BOTOX injections
  • Scar Removal
  • Laser Treatments
