PGY2 Emergency Medicine Residency

The PGY2 Emergency Medicine (EM) residency is a 12-month, organized, directed, postgraduate training program focusing on the development of the skills and competencies necessary to provide optimal pharmaceutical care to EM patients. The LRH Emergency Department (ED) is one of the busiest emergency departments in the nation with an average of approximately 200,000 visits annually. The ED houses 165 total beds including a 33-bed dedicated pediatric ED. Under the guidance of specialty trained preceptors, the resident will develop advanced clinical skills and gain valuable experience to practice as a clinical pharmacist in any emergency department at the culmination of their residency.
