Wounds in need of HBOT
Our Wound Care Center features state-of-the-art hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT). Patients receiving HBOT treatment breathe 100 percent oxygen inside a pressurized chamber. HBOT quickly delivers high concentrations of oxygen to the bloodstream and assists in healing wounds, stimulating the growth of new blood vessels, improving circulation and helping to fight certain types of infections. HBOT is used to treat many types of injuries, including, soft tissue radiation effects, osteomyelitis (bone infection), skin grafts, and diabetic wounds of the lower legs.
