Moody’s Investors Service Reaffirms Lakeland Regional Health Systems A2 Bond Rating

Lakeland, FL – Moody’s Investors Service recently reaffirmed Lakeland Regional Health’s A2
stable rating in advance of public bond financing. The affirmation and assignment of the A2,
according to Moody’s, reflects its expectation that Lakeland Regional Health Systems, Inc.
will remain the distinct market leader and essential provider in and around Polk County.
