HeartSmarts Class

Lakeland Regional Health invites you to its monthly HeartSmarts class, free and open to the community.

The class will help you better understand cardiovascular disease, your cardiac risk factors, and ways to lower your risk for developing cardiovascular disease.

The class is led by Kara Bailey, MSN, ACNS-BC, CMSRN, CCCC, Lakeland Regional Health’s Clinical Nurse Specialist and Certified Chest Pain Coordinator.

Topics include:

• Importance of healthy lifestyle changes
• Warning signs of a heart attack and appropriate action steps
• High blood pressure, stress management, diabetes, nutrition, and physical activity
