Launches New Hospital at Home Program

April 21, 2025

Lakeland, FL — Lakeland Regional Health has launched its Lakeland Regional Health at Home program giving eligible patients an opportunity to stay in the comfort of their home while they receive world-class clinical hospital care.

Lakeland Regional Health (LRH) at Home combines innovative technology with a focus on the needs of the patient. LRH at Home allows patients to connect daily with a care team of doctors and nurses through multiple in-home visits, 24/7 remote patient monitoring, and on-demand virtual visits. The LRH at Home team can also administer oxygen therapy, IV antibiotics, medications, and more. The program provides the same level of inpatient hospital care in the comfort and privacy of the patient’s home.

“Our goal is to ensure our patients receive the world-class care they deserve. LRH at Home has countless protocols and a full team in place to ensure our patients get the attention and care needed to recover,” said Francisco Chebly, MD, Associate Chief Medical Officer and Executive Director, Lakeland Regional Health Physician Group. “This program allows patients to heal in their home with the comfort of their loved ones, pets, and privacy, and we are proud to offer it to our community.”

The LRH at Home team will determine eligibility for the program based on each patient’s condition and their unique needs. LRH at Home is covered by participating insurance plans. To learn more about the LRH at Home program, patients can visit myLRH.org/AtHome.
