Care Awards

LRH honors nurses and nursing support team members throughout the year with the DAISY and BEE awards.

Our Honorees will be recognized and celebrated at a public ceremony in their unit, and will receive:

• A beautiful certificate
• An award pin
• A hand-carved stone sculpture or
engraved trophy

About the Awards

The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses is an international award backed by the DAISY Foundation, a nonprofit organization with a mission to recognize the extraordinary, compassionate care that nurses provide patients and families every day.

Just like a DAISY would not be able to grow without the help of the BEE, our nurses could not do what they do for our patients without the outstanding teamwork of other health care professionals. That’s why LRH recognizes support team members alongside nurses through a similar honor called the BEE Award.
