The BRAVE Program

The BRAVE Program at Lakeland Regional Health provides a compassionate and innovative way to help our patients who have autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder and any pervasive developmental disorders. Using evidence-based research in its creation, BRAVE helps to individualize the plan of care for children and teenagers with a sensory diagnosis to help decrease their anxiety and provide a safe and non-threatening atmosphere.  While maximizing a patient’s privacy, BRAVE allows team members and other caregivers to be aware of a child’s unique needs so each child receives personalized care.

The video below explains the BRAVE Program and what you can do as a parent or caregiver to make visits to the Medical Center less stressful.
