Barnett Pavilion Highlights

Nationally Recognized Maternity Care

One of only 13 hospitals in Florida, Lakeland Regional Health has been named High Performing for Maternity Care on U.S. News & World Report’s 2026 Best Hospitals for Maternity Care list—our second year in a row. This is the highest award a hospital can earn in the annual study.

U.S. News evaluates maternity care hospitals based on factors such as C-section rates in lower-risk pregnancies, severe unexpected newborn complication rates, exclusive breast milk feeding, birthing-friendly practices, and more.

We are also recognized by U.S. News & World Report for our excellence in supporting Black maternal health, highlighting our commitment to delivering safe, equitable care and the best possible outcomes for every parent and baby.
