About the Polk Strong Corporate Cup
The Polk Strong Corporate Cup is a collaborative initiative presented by Lakeland Regional Health and YMCA of West Central Florida designed to bring organizations across Polk County together through wellness, teamwork, and community connection.
This countywide competition encourages businesses and organizations to invest in employee wellness while building stronger workplace culture through engaging athletic competitions, wellness-focused activities, and community-driven experiences.
Together, Lakeland Regional Health and YMCA of West Central Florida are committed to creating healthier workplaces, stronger teams, and a more connected Polk County.

Featured Competitions & Challenges
All games take place at the Bob Adams Family Community YMCA unless otherwise noted below.
Half-Court Hustle (3v3 Basketball)
Fast-paced, high-energy, and competitive. Teams will battle it out in a half-court 3v3 basketball tournament where teamwork, hustle, and sharp shooting take center stage.
Beanbag Brawl (Cornhole)
Precision meets pressure in this classic crowd favorite. Teams will compete in bracket-style cornhole matchups to see who has the smoothest throw under pressure.
Strike City (Bowling)
Bring your best bowlers and your best team spirit. Strike City combines fun, strategy, and friendly rivalry as teams compete lane by lane for victory. Bowling takes place at Bowlero. |
Serve & Destroy (Volleyball)
Communication and teamwork are everything in this exciting volleyball showdown. Teams will rally, dive, and compete for Corporate Cup points and ultimate bragging rights.
Beat the Clock
Think fast, move faster! Beat the Clock is a high-energy relay event featuring three exciting Minute to Win It-style challenges that test speed, teamwork, and focus.
Fairway Frenzy (Golf)
Hit the course and represent your organization in a golf challenge built for both seasoned players and casual competitors. Precision, patience, and teamwork will determine the winners.
Golf takes place at YMCA Par 3 First Tee Lakeland.
Sink or Swim (Swimming Competition)
Speed, endurance, and determination take center stage in this aquatic showdown. Teams will compete in swim events designed to challenge both individuals and relay squads.
The Gauntlet (Obstacle Course)
Push your limits in the ultimate physical and mental challenge. The Gauntlet will test endurance, agility, teamwork, and grit through a series of obstacles and team-based challenges.
5K Clash
Lace up and represent your organization in this community-focused 5K event. Whether you’re racing for a personal best or walking with coworkers, every participant helps their team earn points.
5K takes place at Lake Hollingsworth.
Tug-of-War Showdown
Strength meets strategy in one of the Corporate Cup’s most anticipated events. Teams will go head-to-head in an all-out battle for pride, power, and points.

Yes. Organizations participating in the Polk Strong Corporate Cup will pay a nominal registration fee of $500 per team.
The registration fee includes:
- Entry to the kickoff ceremony and networking event
- Entry into all eligible Corporate Cup events and competitions
- Official Polk Strong Corporate Cup event T-shirts for participating team members
- Access to wellness and community engagement activities
- Eligibility for overall team scoring, awards, and recognition

Yes. The Corporate Cup is designed to be inclusive for organizations large and small. Small organizations may combine with (an)other small organization(s) to establish a team.
