Lakeland Hills Blvd

The Florida Department of Transportation is making necessary improvements to a heavily trafficked stretch of Lakeland Hills Boulevard. This new construction project may affect your travel to and from appointments at our facilities on this stretch.

What:

As part of the ongoing Lakeland Hills Boulevard construction, the Florida Department of Transportation is closing the west side of the Parkview Place intersection at Lakeland Hills Boulevard beginning at 7AM Monday, October 5. The work is expected to take about three weeks.

All Lakeland Regional Health locations along Parkview Place and LRH team member parking lots will remain open.

Vehicles will not be permitted to enter Parkview Place from Lakeland Hills Boulevard. Eastbound and westbound traffic on Parkview Place will be required to follow a designated detour route via East Crawford Street and Morrell Drive.

Traffic on Lakeland Hills Boulevard will remain open in both directions.

When:

This project is slated to complete in 2026.

Alternate Routes:

Although Lakeland Hills Boulevard will remain open throughout construction, patients and families may want to consider alternate routes such as US 98/Florida Avenue and West Lake Parker Drive.
